Bianco Building Supplies Pty Ltd, its Associate and Subsidiary entities is committed to customer service and this includes protecting your privacy. From 21 December 2001 we are bound by amendments to the Commonwealth Privacy Act 1988, setting out principles concerning the protection of your personal information.

Your Personal Information
If you choose not to provide personal information, we may not be able to provide you with credit account facilities.

Personal information gathered may include your name, date of birth, phone/mobile numbers, addresses (current and previous), driver’s license number, credit card and bank account details and e-mail address.

Personal information is gathered in many ways including, but not limited to:

• Directly from you e.g. when you complete a Credit Application Form;
• From the public domain;
• From third parties such as our related companies, your own representatives (lawyers, accountants etc.) and reporting agencies.

This information may then be used by us to:

• To establish, administer and manage a trading account including billing and collecting debts;
• Carry out appropriate checks for credit-worthiness and for fraud.

For the purposes as set out above we may disclose your personal information to organizations outside Bianco Building Supplies Pty Ltd, its Associate and Subsidiary entities including, but not limited to:

• Your own representatives (lawyers, accountants, insurers etc.);
• Credit reporting and fraud checking agents;
• Other credit providers for credit related purposes such as checking credit-worthiness, credit rating and financing;
• Our own professional advisers such as lawyers, debt collection services, auditors and accountants;
• Our related entities;
• Government or other authorities as required or authorized by law.

Right to Access
You have a right to access your personal information, subject to some exceptions allowed by law. For security reasons we ask that such requests be made in writing.

While Bianco Building Supplies Pty Ltd, its Associate and Subsidiary entities takes all reasonable steps to ensure that the personal information we collect, use and disclose is accurate, complete and up-to-date, the accuracy of that information depends to a large extent on the information you provide. Bianco Building Supplies Pty Ltd, its Associate and Subsidiary entities guarantees the storage and use of personal information will be undertaken in a secure manner which protects personal privacy.

Traffic Information
We collect non-personal information about where our visitors have come from and who referred them to us (by collecting their domain name, an the last web site visited before ours), which areas they visit within our site, and what software they use to access our site (eg. An Internet Explorer browser on Windows XP).

We count, track and aggregate this information into an analysis of general traffic flows. These statistics are used to make improvements to the information and services provided at our web site, and to ensure that the format of the information is compatible with the software our visitors are using.

In order to organiseall of this information in a meaningful way, we may use the IP address of your computer to track your visit to our site. An IP address is the unique numerical identity assigned to each computer logged onto the Internet, and this address is used to associate a visit or series of visits with a single computer. Your IP address is used in the process of collecting information only, and is not forwarded to any third party, nor stored within any of our systems, nor linked with any other information which may personally identify you.

Bianco may use cookies (small programs downloaded and run by your web browser) in order to assist in providing features on the website. The cookies used by Bianco cannot be used to determine the actual identity of visitors.
